Youth Leader Opportunities
We are always on the lookout for amazing, youthful talent to help run our camp programs!
When you help us lead camp experiences for a variety of Tasmania's children, we help you with a number of skills training programs to help you grow as youth leader, also strengthening your credibility in the community and hopefully encouraging a pathway for a successful life in whatever you do.
Learn how to interact with children of all backgrounds and be guided through problem solving activities before a camp experience with our Leader Training Days. Make a whole heap of brand new friends who share a similar passion to you for community spirit, personal growth and pushing comfort zones. Many youth volunteers meet lifelong friends through the Eddie Rice network - a great way to stay connected long after school days are behind you. And most importantly, it is you who can help to make a big difference in the way our programs are run. We welcome your suggestions and direct input to develop our organisation to new heights. It is you after all, who make our camps tick and put massive smiles on the faces of Tasmanian children enjoying brand new social experiences.
As we are working with children, teens and young adults from all walks of life, we require you to complete a police clearance check prior to commencing a camp with us.
Police Check (compulsory)
All volunteers need an up to date national police check. This police check form is partially filled in making it much easier for you! Give the office a call to check that your police check is still valid, as applicants can not be accepted without a police check.
Other non-compulsory (but useful) qualifications...
First Aid - sign me up!
Bronze Medallion - sign me up!
